Join Ocean Beach Surf & Skate, premier skate and apparel companies and local skateboard pros to raise money for local school, Ocean Beach Elementary. 

On Saturday, January 28, 2012, from 11:00am to 3:00pm, OB Surf & Skate will host our 2^nd Annual Skate for the Kids fundraiser at Robb Field Skate Park. This stellar event will feature a meet and greet with pro skateboarders, a tasty BBQ with food provided by Hodad’s, and a huge raffle with prizes from our sponsors and local businesses, Electric, Jedidiah, Mostic, Hodad’s, Tum Yeto, Vox, Shorty’s, VAS, NHS, Newport Pizza, Nick’s and more!

All proceeds raised from this event will be donated to Ocean Beach Elementary in an effort to counteract recent budget cuts and bolster programs including music and art instruction, academic enrichment activities, family entertainment and student recognition events.  In addition to monetary donations, event sponsors, local businesses and individuals have donated incredible prizes for the raffle such as skateboards, clothing, shoes, sunglasses, gift certificates and more.
